When we first arrived on the site of this peculiar small building, it was almost impossible to distinguish it from its surroundings, even when one was standing just in front of it. This womb-like cell, nestled in the Kytherian landscape amongst rolling fields and olive trees, with its sensuousness of form and strong sense of seclusion, inspired us to design a mediterranean version of a wilderness micro-dwelling; a small home merged with nature, not only in its construction, but also via the usage of materials, colours, and textures, and designed for those in pursuit of silence.
